Idiot of the Week Number 3: David Beckham

After 18 months living in Spain while playing for Real Madrid, David Beckham has finally decided to speak a bit of Spanish in public. He ummmmmed and uhhhhhhed all the way through the few sentences he spoke, making it hard to figure out which bits were Spanish.

Most foreign players who come to England do a wonderful job of learning English in only a short space of time. After 18 months in the country, you would think Beckham could speak a bit more of the language than that.



Perhaps that's Becks' problem. He needs to learn to speak English properly first.
