Diary Entry

8.06 am The swelling is going down, but I still look frightful and feel like shit. My stomach thinks it's been through a meat grinder. I'm trying to convince Simon to get up and take the boys to school because there's no way I can drive, but he was up until silly hours on his computer (so what else is new?) and doesn't want to get out of bed.

1.18 pm All I seem to want to do is sleep. I suppose that's good because I can heal and avoid the pain at the same time, but I've got so much I need to do! I'm determined to get some studying done and some candles made this evening.

3.48 pm I don't remember the last time the house was this quiet, though it isn't going to last. Malorie and Braden will be home soon. Ricky and Jack have gone to their dad's and Simon has gone round to Kev's. Very peaceful.

Oops, I spoke too soon. Kids are home.

7.53 pm I was really hoping I'd feel almost like myself again by this evening, but I'm still sick, tired and sore. I wanted to go to uni tomorrow. At this rate, I'll be lucky to go Thursday.

Malorie is cooking some pasta, so I'm going to try to eat that. Should be easy enough.

11.57 pm Well, I'm actually feeling a bit better this evening. I've managed to stay awake, eat a meal, keep it down, and make candles. Not as many candles as I would have liked, but it's a start. Needless to say there's not much of interest going on worth entering in my diary. I'm going to try to make it to my EU law seminar tomorrow evening. I don't know about making it to the earlier one for tort, but I'm going to try my best to make it to that one too. I don't want to miss anything, that's not like me.
