Idiot of the Week -- Ginger Spice

There are just some things you don't do when it comes to meeting with royalty, and it seems that Geri Halliwell just doesn't give a toss.

According to royal protocol, the last person who should enter the room during an official engagement should be Her Majesty. In this case, I think Halliwell assumed that she was the royalty in question because she "swept in" 40 minutes late to a royal gathering that included such greats as Eric Clapton, Brian May, Jimmy Page, Roger Daltry and Robert Plant.

Okay, I'm American so the royalty thing doesn't really work for me, but there's such a thing as acting with courtesy and respect. What bothered me about Ginger Spice here is that she just flounced herself in and didn't make an apology for it. That's just common courtesy, but then again, maybe she's just common.
