You Might Be a Redneck ...
I took a vocabulary test of sorts to see if I'm more Yankee than Rebel a little while ago and discovered that, despite spending the first 30 years of my life in Texas, I am "53% (Dixie). Right on the Mason-Dixon Line".
At least that explains why people in England who meet me for the first time say "but you don't sound like Sue Ellen!"

Heh. I'm not at all surprised at my results.
46% (Yankee). Barely in the Yankee category.
This is what happens when a Yankee (and one from the Great Lakes area) spends too much time in the south. :P Of course, if I move down there to live (again), then they'll be calling me a "damn Yankee." LOL :P :D
People call me a Yankee over here. I tell them that's impossible since I never lived outside Texas in all my years in the US! ;-)
Yeah, but to a Brit a Yank is anyone from the U.S., and it often doesn't matter if you've British blood in you, like me. Hmmph! :P :D
I know. I also had to laugh yesterday when Kate told me I'm thinking too much like a "northerner". LMAO
